If you are going to enter Rocky Mountain National Park from the Grand Lake entrance, you can purchase a Bear Lake Road corridor scheduled entry reservation at one of entry booths. you can enter the park before 9am without a scheduled entry, drive down Trail Ridge Road to the Bear Corridor Lake Road and enter the Bear Lake Road corridor through the 2-hour window of your scheduled entry permit for the Bear Lake Road corridor. Rocky Mountain National Park is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, although certain roads and facilities may be closed seasonally.
If you have a scheduled entry permit for the Bear Lake corridor and the rest of Rocky Mountain National Park, you must enter the park during your 2-hour period AND be in the Bear Lake corridor during this period as well. You only need to purchase a timed entry permit if you plan to visit Rocky Mountain National Park between May 27 and October 10 and between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. for the Bear Lake corridor or 9 a. to 3 p.m. for the rest of the park. All pre-purchased entry passes will be honored and will act as your National Park entry fee. If you plan to visit any part of the Rocky Mountain National Park, you will be asked for a timed entry permit.
