Unlike some national parks, there is no overnight accommodation in Rocky Mountain National Park. There are plenty of lodging options in the nearby communities of Estes Park and Grand Lake. Just inside the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is 42 acres of privately owned land. But that will only last a little longer.

There is no lodging within Rocky Mountain National Park, so housing facilities for all employees are located just outside the RMNP boundaries in the city of Estes Park. On the western side of Rocky Mountain National Park, stay in one of two yurt villages at YMCA's Snow Mountain Ranch. The elevation range within the park limits ranges from 7,600 feet to 14,259 feet.
